This time we approach a little more Pride and Prejudice because the story revolves around girls Mr Collins and his wife. We then have the leisure to find this very expensive character, even if it is best portrayed by Austen. Charlotte, the eldest, was offered by his aunt, living in London for the season. His sister, Eliza, faces his choices. We discover new characters like Lady Grandpoint Sir Bartholomew Diggory or - where that name come from? - But some are back as Wytton, Lady Warren and even Mr Darcy, true!
The plot is classic and very similar to that of Pride and Prejudice. The first chapters have also tired me as there is nothing innovative. Thankfully, Aston adds his ideas and transforms the starting scenario. The second part of the novel is more interesting and I got attached to the characters.
Like the entire series, the link with the Darcy is not necessary although this volume it attaches a little more Pride and Prejudice. The story is nice but a little long to start and end still a little sloppy.
