The capacity is 8800mAh with approximately twice as large when compared with the original battery, which manifests itself massively in the runtime noticeable. 4 hours of battery runtime at a moderate load is not a problem ... these are therefore approximately twice as much as the original battery in the new state. According to System Information tool, the actual capacity corresponds with my copy even 9000mAh.
Very interesting is the UID of the cell that appears to me in the System Information tool. It shows the name SONY is included. This suggests that it is even brand SONY cells in the battery.
The dimensions of the battery pack due to the higher capacity and the associated higher number of memory cells slightly larger than the original. Thus, the notebook is slightly raised at back and is inclined slightly forward. This is my opinion, however, even positive, as it seems a bit more ergonomic and ventilation on the bottom of the notebook is much better.

The mentioned in the negative reviews problems are attributable to differences between the required voltage of the notebook and provisioned by the battery voltage. As Hermann has described the battery meet the item description is not with all, called models (electric) is compatible. Necessarily with the product offered here is why check before buying the voltage of the original battery for equality. The original battery should therefore 10.8V or 11.1V have.
