There should be an HDTV receiver with external 2.5 "hard drive via USB to be because I did not want to fret about possible fan noise. In addition, it should be priced (but not cheap zusammengebastelt), thought out and easy to use.
After a long search and some fast purchases of other devices, my choice fell on this Comag. I also bought a Plextor 500GB HDD to which I joined at the rear panel. This is what I personally find better and more beautiful, as a front-USB such as the Comag SL 100th
At first I was disappointed, however, unfortunately, because the device did not offer the possibility of the promised recording function. The hard drive is not recognized. The Comag hotline advised me to a software update via USB, which was to be accomplished quickly and easily (download new software from Comag, unpack, save on USB and play by receiver-menu - that's it).
After that everything worked as we had hoped. The picture is very good and sharp, the sound clear and clean in SD and HD. There are many settings, however, you need not necessarily be used (but may). The switching times I feel with approximately 0.5-1.0 seconds rather than quickly. Only when the machine It takes about 5-10 seconds, but that does not bother me.
The entire menu is fairly intuitive to use and this is comforting about the weak manual away. Record and play simple and easy work (HDD FAT32 or NTFS format possible !!!).
Certainly there are also things that might interfere with a (eg is not very extensive EPG). However, probably throughout all HD devices have their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, everyone has to decide what is important to himself.
For me, the price / performance ratio is in this unit more than well and I'm very happy with it.
