As owner of a Nikon D 7000 and a Fuji X 20 we are already spoiled when it comes to quality of images. Now it should be a favorable but non-camera for the beach and the swimming pool. The result for the low price we have not been disappointed. The camera feels wertig to (as compared to the Nikon S31 and other waterproof cameras in this price range). It is small and handy. A wrist strap, so you do not loose in the water is. The setting possibilities are endless (macro, white balance, exposure compensation, etc.) and the most important settings are changing fast. There are also plenty of Filters (Pop, glitters, line drawing), which make very nice effects and scene settings, eg for underwater photos. But most importantly, the quality of the images, especially in the sunshine and sufficient light is absolutely fine. Sharp and crisp colors. In low light and indoors, the limits of such a cheap camera, of course, can be seen clearly here the noise bothers quickly. But otherwise: it's a lot of fun on the beach and in the water. Does not like so much: 1) has delegated the USB cable for charging and pictures a specific Olympus port, so no mini or micro USB connector on the camera side. So you have to take good care of the cable; 2) the battery charge is only in the camera possible (external battery charger, only as an accessory). There are due to the great price / performance ratio but five stars!
