Ultimately I decided on the AEG EWA 7500 kettle / temperature selection with digital display / 1.7 liters, with whom I am very satisfied.

++ The water comes in this device with as little plastic into contact, as none of the other three facilities.
+ According to instructions, it is sufficient if you rinse the kettle before first time a cold. I then nevertheless brought twice more water to boil before I used it the first time.
+ In order to bring a liter of water to boil, the unit consumes 0,109 kWh. In standby, the device has a consumption of 0.53 Watts (with a measuring device that is designed for low quiescent currents, measured).
+ The brushed surface is easy to clean.
+ After pouring nothing drips.
+ When pouring the water at the designated place flows.
+ It is very stable on the base.
+ Maintains the Kalksieb and is washable.
++ The Colors of products falling much glaring than in reality.
++ The device makes a very well-made impression.
++ The discharged water has a neutral taste.
++ Especially it emanates also no plastic smell.
+ The water can be brought directly to the boil.
+ Or be heated to previously preset 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90 degrees.
+ Just before the preset temperature is reached (not at 100 degrees), the stove regulates always back down, so that these temperatures are reached fairly accurate.
+ At the request of the kettle keeps the water warm for half an hour at the preset temperature.
+ 40 degrees is on the display the temperature of the water.
+ The rising water temperature (green, light blue, dark blue, purple, red) at the same time optically by changing colors on the water level indicator.
Upon reaching the desired temperature +/- 5 discreet sound beeps.
++ If you take the unit shortly before from the base, you will hear no beeps.
+/- When the device is placed on the base, also hear a discreet tone because turns on the electronics here.
++ Again, then the water temperature on the display is displayed if this is 40 degrees or more.
+/- Each press will also sound a discreet tone.

For me the AEG EWA 7500 kettle / temperature selection with digital display / 1.7 liter almost the perfect kettle. Only the base of the unit could be minimal valent. With a little more intelligent cable winder (three instead of only one possible outlet for the cable) it would be almost the perfect device.
Should you have any questions about specific points of my review, so I answer that like in the comments.
Should I still notice something negative or positive, so I'll mention this here.

Supplement of 6 February 2012: According to Stiftung Warentest was at the stove AEG small residues of bisphenol A found, in water that was left to stand for 24 hours. Other residues were not found, and also bisphenol A was then only in a concentration that would mean, according to the European Food Safety Authority no risk; whether this also applies to infants and young children, has not been written.
There is also the maker test in which no residues were found, I have reduced my rating to one star. If z.Zt. small children or even an infant would live in my household, I would now probably buy myself another kettle, or because of my induction cooktop, even if it causes a little more energy would be consumed, to buy an electric kettle made of stainless steel.
Otherwise, I'm still very happy with the facilities.
