What for me but did not work, and therefore there are only 3 star:
- The arrangement of lightning !!
Is certainly an advantage when it comes to red eyes, but anyone who takes the camera in hand, puts his left index finger on the flash. If this is then set to Auto, it can either not be extended, or you scare (the first time I would have left almost drop the S90!
- The rear dial !! Oh one Canon, which is you because there occurred !!! : - ((
I would recommend anyone who wants to with the camera not only in the green DAU photograph sorry Auto mode, but would like to take the undisputed outstanding individual possibilities of S90 to take the camera before buying into their own hands and to use. This ominous wheel is in fact so smoothly that you practically unnoticed changed the most diverse settings.
To make matters worse, the wheel also serves as a 4-way rocker. Until you know it has to adjust the ISO setting from Auto to 80. Try searching times the error when suddenly all the images become too dark, or due to the slow shutter speed, are blurred! :-(
Mind you, this does not apply in the (green) Auto mode because the wheel has no function.
If I ever give someone the camera so that it shoots a photo of me that can practically be done only in auto mode, because otherwise there is a danger that this someone innocently adjusts the exposure!
Conclusion: I have to keep the camera still, simply because it makes good pictures, because it is fast and it offers me all the freedom I wish! An operation I'll get used soon enough! It's flexible!
Who photographed only in Auto mode anyway, which can fully recommend the S90! But who spends so much for a compact photographing also usually different (so-called non-car users ;-) and since then it's happert!
