Must for whiskey lovers

The Auchentoshan Three Wood matures only 10 years in ex-bourbon casks. Then he gets even its typical taste by two years of ripening in Oloroso sherry casks and six additional months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks - where he will also get a dose of sweetness abbekommt => "Three Wood".

The taste is very fruity, but not as strong as in the also very popular Glenmorangie Lasanta. Peat or smoke in vain. His gentleness, fruity and long finish make this whiskey also interesting for people who are not pronounced whiskey fans otherwise.
