The pros:
- Besides the fact that you see what you are filming / photo taken, you can also view the contents recorded earlier
- The screen is touch sensitive, allowing a much simpler configuration.
- Fluid and good quality. Beautiful finishes.
- With the display, one receives "extensions" to the case of GoPro, which will ship your LCD under water and protect against possible falls. (There are 3 extensions *)
- Small storage box to prevent damage to the screen where you can also put a micro SD card and an SD card. But not the camera ....
- Attaches and removed without difficulty.
- Taking "jack 3.5 mm" to plug HEADPHONES (a microphone jack would have been more appropriate ...), and a built-in speaker with volume control.
The -:
- Consumes your battery much faster.
- Limited Compatibility with Gopro 1 and 2.
- Incompatible with the headband (and surely the harness to the torso) as the camera is not positioned but as said above, the screen is easily removable which will not really a concern.
In summary:
Must have for those of you who are more pictures of landscapes (ect ...) but not really necessary for most athletes (example **)
⋅
(*) 3 extensions: one with holes to facilitate the recording of sound and protect against a fall, without hole to go underwater or skiing and without holes but with a small screen of thin plastic can select on the screen while being able to go underwater.
(**) For example, taking the main image supplied by amazon this screen, we see a lady making surfing while its screen is of no use to him in his case!
