The book was able to captivate from the very beginning. Already in the first pages comes at a high voltage when Aria gets involved in a dangerous adventure in order to elicit information about the fate of her mother's son of the consul. Soon she finds herself in the dangerous outside world and must fight for survival. Here I was feverish with how well you will succeed.
The chapter describes alternately from the perspective of Aria and Perry. I found interesting how different process both the situation. While the outside world for Aria is a nightmare, Perry knows nothing else. He grew up in a trunk in the outside world and has survival learned from an early age. By helping Aria he hopes to be able to help his nephew Talon. Veronica Rossi has the motivation and objectives of the two characters clearly worked out here and I could understand very well why they make certain decisions. Thus they have become sympathetic to me and I can empathize with them.
After the turbulent events at the beginning of the tempo is a little quieter for a while. Aria and Perry get to know each other better and it will Arias first day described in the wilderness. Here I received but neither side superfluous. The reader is supplied with the necessary background knowledge and both characters make an important development by. From about half of the book offers the reader again stunning voltage, a revelation, with whom I have absolutely not expected and big emotions. Thanks Veronica Rossi insistent narrative I could completely dive into the action. The book is self-contained only slightly and has left me for a dramatic finale with some questions. Now I can not wait to read the next part!
Under the Never Sky is a dystopia at its finest. It offers an exciting futuristic world and two interesting characters who could not be more and yet must ally. By some fantasy elements such as ether storms and superhumanly strong sense manifestations Veronica Rossi gives its history a distinctive character. I was able to inspire the book from the first page to last. This book is a must-read for all Dystopienfans!
