Good image quality. The lens I use on an EOS 70d. I've only been doing test shots, but could often described focus problem of EOS70d notice previously. The zoom range is sufficient because I use another zoom lens with a longer focal length. Compared with an L lens Canon would not be fair. Before, I wanted the whole area by a 18-250mm (Sigma) cover (2years old). This went with my old 350d but no longer with the 70d because the image sharpness suffers too much and I did not want to enter into this compromise. (But that I recognized by screen test with an L lens now only what can really afford the camera say.) Unfortunately had my EOS70d with this Sigma also have problems with focusing. Focus of the Canon is not audible and will be very pleasant when shooting video. The lens is very light, so you can take an additional interchangeable lens again.
