I take pictures with the Nikon 50mm 1.4 lens and the Nikon 85mm 1.8 lens and therefore know very well what it's like to shoot with open aperture. The Sigma, because if it had delivered sharp photos, a good complement to the other two fixed focal length would have been.
With the same motif with the same open aperture and a direct comparison between the Nikon 50mm and the Sigma 30mm pictures with the Sigma were just blurred, and not just on the edge, but in part also in the middle.
