My review is from the Android - docking station AS111 / 12

Well packed in an appealing product box she stands in front of me, the Android - Docking Station from the Fidelio range in clock radio design. It looks very classy and feel is quality. Commissioning is very simple and the user manual should really not be used. Start the machine under power, and away you go.
- To make it short, it is somewhat more extensive and:
Those who want the full roar and sound for the room would fill the room, which was to get a device with a higher power output. (AS851 / AS351 or 10/12).
There are after all not a panacea!

But: Given the 4 watt output can fully convince the sound of the AS111 / 12. Even at maximum volume of AS111 / 12 and coupled device (both of which are independently controllable) there is no shout or clanking from the speakers. The sound is pleasantly balanced, not oversubscribed and seems to withdraw from the device. Amazing how one finds out such a rich, clear sound from such a small station - if one with 4 watts of power thinks of the PC speakers .And the bass where you please come here? - Respect!
In Detail:
Compatibility: The AS111 connects via Bluetooth with other devices. This is very gratifying, because it can so far tested by me, all Bluetooth-enabled devices are coupled. I have Samsung Galaxy I9000, Galaxy S2, Sony Ericsson Arc S, Sony Ericsson K750i and Nokia can connect 5230 (Thanks for lending at all!) With the AS111 - a huge advantage than other products. However, not all functions with each device- see App.

Connection: There are two ways:
1. you have installed on the Data Matrix code the Fidelio App present on the packaging, the connection is automatically made to the mobile device and synchronize and display the time on your device. If the App is active and the AS111 is switched on (blue Bluetooth symbol flashes) it is enough to come and the devices coupled to independently in the range of about 10 meters.
2. Want or however you can not install the app, it is enough to AS111 / 12 manually to couple with the device via Bluetooth settings and then they work as a Bluetooth headset. - While searching flashes on the display next to the time display a small blue Bluetooth symbol. The pairing of the devices is indicated by a tone and the blue sign will light constantly. If you remove that device again heard the same sound. But it would be nice if this would disable 'Dut-dut' because it awakens the sleeping partner when connecting or removing the mobile phone, and the app again lies down an independent restart. Display and light: The dot matrix display can be adjusted in 3 different levels and has a very pleasant whitish color. A battery or accumulator operation is not possible with AS 111. For subtle yellowish lighting is located underneath the housing a light ring which is adjustable and can be switched off in two stages. A coupling to the alarm there is unfortunately not.
Operation: On top, in front of the Micro-USB connector which is 'power button', but merely one of the Bluetooth function on and off. Left and right next to the buttons are louder and softer the active speaker in the AS111. Behind the holder for the mobile device is the button for dimming. Bluetooth off dims to the display, turned-on the light ring. All other functions are controlled by the respective mobile device.

Charging function: The micro USB port is used exclusively for charging the mobile phone or player. The named Philips FlexiDock Micro USB connector to connect to as many different devices - for it can be rotated 180 ° and move left and right, but all can be there after all not make right! Apps:
If you have the Fidelio app is installed as described above, the mobile device coupled immediately independently when you connect the mobile phones - assuming Andriod operating system. Then starts automatically a bet Rapp in the user interface. Why?
To operate you will find the app Songbird, which also allows a comparison of the music library to the desktop when the program is installed there, too, - the Internet Radio 'tune in' with thousands of radio stations sorted by genre, - the clock function, - settings ( for example, the appearance of the app) and - the product images of the devices Fidelio series of Philips.
The software obscures the very high-quality product in my opinion, very much because:
1. The software has repeatedly restarted with me during the operation incl. Bluetooth coupling and uncoupling, each time with the confirmation! It's enough a small shake when the phone is on the connector. Very annoying!
2. Songbird and 'tune in' really are good applications, but most smart phones have already installed similar programs. It, if you had the choice of whether and which app you want to take then would be nice.
3. The alarm clock has good features that are still expandable. It is very nice that you can fall asleep to music and the mobile unit shuts down after a preset time. Another highlight - the unfortunately only three really great alarm tones with bird chirps and ocean sounds.
4. can serve which purpose the product images of other Philips devices be imagined, but let's face it, who looks for such products obtained information on the Internet or already found his favorite. At least this gimmick should be delete to free up memory.
5. If the App is installed and running, a lot of battery power is consumed. Even if the phone is plugged into the AS111 / 12 maintains the full charge level acc. Indicator does not last long. I suspect that too much power is consumed by the constant query of weather information and the permanent internet connection.
6. The Internet radio has the normal connection of the mobile phone dropouts. There is already a very high flow of data has to be buffered and the connection quality is enough as well for my not aus.Über wireless location connected no problem!

Conclusion: Full marks for the hardware, app only mediocre!
To be supplied to the ideal instrument for example in the kitchen or bathroom with time, music and news for me or relaxing on the nightstand standing with music to fall asleep (sleep mode) and wake up with sound of the ocean or birds chirping.
For this application, I give my full recommendation. The hardware is considered independently superclass!
If the app would be better, I would use radio ions also offered, but by the flaws described above, I have the app deleted from the phones again and get so much better understood. The alarm function of the cell phones work when the phone is connected as a Headset! I hope this will be fixed in the next update of the app problems. As for listening to music, the Bluetooth transmission with any of the tested mobile phones also work so, I mainly my old Nokia 5230 connected to the AS111 / 12.

Addendum: After almost 2 years of daily use, I can state that the foil keys are still healing (contrary to other assumptions of reviewers) and the unit is working as the first day! To remove dust makes a soft brush very good services and everything is back schick.Die app is still a nightmare.
