My sewing machine and I - a love-hate relationship

After I started a few years ago with the old sewing machine my mother to sew, but should then creates a new one. When my husband then the Singer Curvy brought home with them, I was initially thrilled. Meanwhile, I have the machine nine months and got to know both the quirks and benefits.

I'll start with the negatives:

Furthermore bothers me that when you have pressed the reverse button, you can not sew immediately on. One has to wait a short time before the foot pedal will work again.
The last thing that bothers me is that if I've chosen a special adjustment of the stitch length or width, then this will not be saved. Among the advantages:
The best thing about the Curvy is that if she runs for once, it runs like a bee. Unstoppable she sews by everything - from thin cotton layers to multiple layers webbing - no problem at all. Here you have to not worry about the thread tension, because the automatic thread tension works very well with different fabrics and fabric layers. That is also the reason why I have not thrown against the wall. ;)

Meanwhile, I have also good shot with my curvy, so I like a lot and with her near, but I did not know if I would buy me one more time.
