The Sirui makes a valent impression processed and can be assembled and disassembled in no time.
The improved stability is clearly noted compared to my old Manfrotto 190XPROB.
Why do I subtract a star?
Due to the separation of the center column there is an additional threaded rod for connecting both centerpieces. The tightening is done by hand only at the lowest point of the center column. You do not get properly fixed to the two segments. Bringing the side force on the center column can be seen from the gap that the connection is simply not strong enough. Here you could surely find a better technical solution, whereby a separation point will always bring certain disadvantages.
Since I use the tripod almost exclusively with retracted central column, the mentioned circumstance for me absolutely manageable is (at FEISOL CT-3442 I would have bought anyway no center column to).
Nevertheless, it should be aware of potential buyers, which are often dependent on an extended center column.
