Appearance
--------
By design, it is I think a matter of taste. Personally, I can indeed imagine even nicer or "cooler" watches, but was about to just ne normal, simple clock and there was my very well liked. According to the assessment varies by acquaintances of "beautiful big hand" to "was the in ner Kellogg's pack with this."
Well, there are cheaper-looking watch, but after what special they really now looks not, especially the housing reminds sometimes have really something of toys - for me that enough but full.
Only noted perhaps more that my clock (although here bought) not like on the picture on Amazon this light earth brown stitch has the tape, but rather silver-gray. But that does not bother, but like I think even better.
Another point for "glass". That seems to be any plastic and yes, he scratched with relative ease. My clock has thus now also some traces in it (which I use quite active). However, these scratches interfere at all - they must not even particularly on. Only in a certain light you see them, but even then the time can still easily read. So to be afraid of scratches you need in any way - the function, so reading is not so restricted.
And those who consider that from pure prestige for disturbing that would I think this clock anyway not buy.
Time of day

It is very positive that the clock actually is always right. Have me especially the first few months of really hard to make out a go wrong, but even until the next time change moved the straight times in the range of up to 20 seconds. That to me is more than acceptable, because 20 seconds error until the next changeover bother me in any way.
Lighting

The hands glow in the dark (do not know how you call it, but this stuff just that you "charge" with the brightness and then glows in the dark).
Moreover - and this is probably the far more common case - you can even turn on by pressing the adjusting a backlight. This illuminates the clock face in a really very good-looking turquoise-blue. One must imagine that not just like a light bulb behind it, but it looks more as if the dial starts to become lamps (maybe doing that's so even with this Indiglo illumination mentioned). The time you can see very well, the date display but is thus not illuminated. So who in his dark cave necessarily the date needs to wait for the sunrise :). Once you let go of the wheel, the light goes off immediately.
Well, so beautiful this whole Beleuchterei may be, if it gives up the ghost after nem nine months, that's annoying.
This is also the reason for the star trigger (which I almost changed my mind there is a second subtract).
Ticking
------
The pretty loud ticking of the clock is already beginning sometimes quite strongly struck me especially. And even today there are always situations where it bothers. If one is, for example at night with the ear near the clock, or if one is staying in very quiet rooms (eg in meetings). Since the ticking falls then also the neighbors :).
But all in all, it is most of the time absolutely not annoying, you get used to it quite quickly and mostly I hear it no longer even.
Bracelet / processing

At least outwardly they seem pretty well finished - tu me something hard, something estimate.
I really wanted when buying directly after watches with nylon straps, because I do not like the metal bands and break down the rubber bands too fast. The band itself is also after 2.5 years of continuous wearing showers every day / washing, rain, snow, sun, physical exercise, still pretty good shape. Even now as it is called - I'd say, "joints", that is, the parts that connect the actual clock with the bracelet, are still in top shape - although I most likely suspected the fast break at the first viewing after purchase at this would have. The only thing I've overlooked but then at my Nylonsucherei, was the small eye, in which you put the excess tape. Because the course is once again out of this rubber material and has demolished about a month ago. This is annoying, because the band now, of course, always so disturbing protrudes, but the clock would actually still in order. Would it therefore now reluctant to discard, just because the right piece is lost. See all previous attempts at a solution but of somehow cheap. But only at the margins.
For people who have problems with the bracelet length, I wonder what that must have because of huge arms. There are 9 pre-made holes in the bracelet and I use the exact middle and can still easily rotate around your wrist even as the clock. And I think you can maybe even a couple of holes on each side of itself add. But good people are different :)
A word to the corners of the bracelet - just for the reason because it was mentioned here in the comments times: Yes, I can also remember that a corner of the strap end (ie the part which normally "survives"), was a bit sharp. But that was never really bad, is my only noticed when I've done quite crooked hand movements and came across it and has worn down over time, that all edges and corners are quite nicely rounded.
Date
-----
A nice (but think now also widespread) is a function that you can adjust the date (the day), without having to change the time. You need the adjuster pull only a tiny piece and can then continue to turn the pure day of the date. The clock continues to run, so it is lost for a second.
As mentioned above, we the date but not lit at night, making it not readable.
Conclusion

I'm with the clock itself is actually satisfied, fast Say goodbye to the backlight and also a little the current being lost this holding "eye" but displease me then. By contrast, the big dial and the very easy readability please me well. Maybe I've just experienced a special case with the lighting.
