necessary for light output

I bought this at a monopod opportunity to go on holiday and I probably would need a tripod lighter and not bulky without saying that my camera should also reduce him the most possible weight (over grip battery, or the great, big goals ...)

For cons, I do not count on him if I have to use it with the big gear are heavy and bulky. a Canon 70-200 L 2.8 in colier can not be mounted on this small, but a 17-40L or 35 or 50 or even 70-200 f4 are ok.

For my part, I could use it with my monopod holiday kit: canon 5D MK1 fitted with a 17-40 580EXII with a flash for an evening and it went very smoothly. ;)
