After unpacking I was surprised by the size of this drive, very small. So there is no display on the front side, which avoids to illuminate the room. The remote control is small, has good grip and troom leads easily to the audio and subtitles.
The blu ray loading time is very fast, even on tracks like "the darl knight". The image quality is excellent.
For DVD, the upscale is good on a TV 42 "By cons, we can not jump trailers. Fast Forward works but not the chapter skip, or access the main menu.
The picture settings are very basic, we are treated to "Standard", "Bright Room" and "Cinema" and a noise reduction setting. BNR and MNR ("Block Noise Reduction" and "Mosquito Noise Reduction)
In general, the settings of the entire drive is sketchy, it is intended for users who want it to work as soon as the branch and who do not want sembarrasser technical details.
The weak point of this drive is the network read: he accepts that the DLNA protocol (no NFS or SMB), and I have not managed to have subtitles.
In short, a very good player, cheap and easily allows you to enjoy Netflix on Bluray and DVD.
Edit of 11/02/2014: The dézonnage for DVD is very simple: press "HOME" then type "1389310". But as there are no numbers on the remote control, you need a compliant universal remote. (Logitech harmony for example)
