Audio hardware tester for the site GamerStuff, with a few dozen helmets tested and thousands of hours of music listening to my credit, I think I have an ear trained to compare, and I was looking for a "beast" jack splitter to compare rendering two headsets simultaneously. Aside from a slight loss of signal strength, I thought given the description and reviews have found the item I needed ... and no! Once inserted between the source and your headphones, the sound becomes metal, the bass is virtually suppressed and distorted treble audio calamity. Certainly there is no crackling (thank you the gold plating), but that's the least of it when we think buy a correct adapter. Tested with 24 bit audio file with DAC phone, PC and external (for different qualities), same observation: rendering execrable. A FLEE like the plague if you still have a little time is hearing ...
