I really wanted the HDMI sound of my Playstation 3 which is connected via the TV at my speaker system decoupling since the PS 3 when compared with other sources is much too loud. Unfortunately so does not work, because the sound is indeed decoupled but still transmitted via HDMI. For my purposes, unsuitable, so I returned it.
