No sooner had the device with me, as always, sent top of Amazon, the JVC was already completed and connected the new part. Here the first advances were already apparent. The clamping of the boxes at the Yamaha's clearly-quality and better designed than on my old JVC. By now vorhandnen HDMI ports on the AV receiver and the cable bundle was right although I thin because I could not believe so right for television the ARC, for safety's sake a toslink have left it. I'm really not an expert audio now I used the automatic calibration function of the device and then ventured to the music output. Wow, it seems to me as if I had bought the boxes (ELAC Cinema Line 5.1) new. My boxing may be the entry category of ELAC but not the worst, and now I had the feeling that things are also used properly for the first time.
We continued with the use of the 5.1 function and I have to say by the ARC channel and the CCE feature I can now directly use the remote control for the TV to change the volume and the sound is really fishy. The connection of the PS3, which also acts as a BlueRay player with me, brought the next pleasant surprise. Pressing namely the Scene button on the Yamaha BD remote control so starts the PS and TV and I can comfortably scroll with the Yamaha remote control through the PS3 menu and the most basic operations of DVD / BlueRay use reproductions. My PS3 remote dusty since the cabinet.
The integrated Airplay feature was a selling point and is functioning properly. I can my entire collection now with no problem from my NAS (Synology DS214Play) stream without detours on the AV receiver and shows me the display even on what song is currently running.
Oh, one more point, the remote control is not overloaded but clearly designed and practical. The use my old JVC was fashion due to the many combinations + x or shift + x and never used number keys not really user-friendly.
Conclusion: Absolute buy recommendation!
