Since paper is patient known and the marketing departments of large corporations is like to lose in the superlatives, here my first impression of the practice, even if the camera is just for a week in use.

I opted for the Samsung NX1 because they (as of Nov / 2014) to date is the only one that uses the new H265 codec. Further, the (gigantic) amount of data obtained in 4K productions is considerably reduced with H265. And since the advertising has not promised too much, the 4K shots are sharp crack and be reliably written to inexpensive SD cards. A small stone is me because already fallen from the heart, after all, with the high-intensity 16-50 mm lens and a few other little things but then nearly 3,000 over the counter. A lot of money for a newcomer from the there was no mandatory testing, pre-production models that were only very sparingly distributed in the market.

- The battery handle (optional) takes only an additional battery (4K recordings need electricity without end)
- The high ISO values ​​can not convince them, no idea whether that is software-enhanced by the firmware, but the marketing department should probably already be a newer version ;-)

The list is not complete and my opinion one of many. In summary, I'm pretty excited about that part, especially in view of the enormous CPU power. For example, if the data is converted to another codec after dubbing, catch adult section hosts the sweating, the processors give everything and the fans replace a hairdryer. All this makes the processor in the camera without a fan and with tolerable warming. Respect. Another example, is internally or the sensor over 200x in the second can be read out. This information comes from an interview that was conducted with the design engineer. This dataset is used then to realize special programs. One of these is, for example. a program for air jump shots. If you select the program and presses the shutter release, the camera takes care of the actual trigger point, if and when the jumping person is at the highest point of the jump. Those who have bought in the past two years a camera in this price region must not be nervous. The camera is great, but not outclassed its top competitors. If you are looking in this league for a new camera, Samsung should now take on the watchlists. The best camera there so little as the best car or the most beautiful woman.
