A book for children as I love them. Strong cardboard pages, illustrations and tender story written a pretty good since a lot of repetition mania which always pleases enormously to the smallest. The framework of the story is well chosen because it is a farmyard. It is a theme that appeals to children. The plot is simple. This is a chicken named Pauline who finds a nice big earthworm she starts pulling to dislodge from its hole. "Ho! Heave! Ouste Go! Get out!" but the worm holds good. While Lulu rabbit will offer his help, always the same rétorique "Ho! Heave! Ouste Go! Get out!" but the worm holds good. You get the idea, over the pages Polo pig, Nestor the dog, Coraline the cow and the horse Alfred will join forces to help their friend Pauline. And in the end, what is the loss? ... Well ... it's fall! Exactly. All animals fall backward and the sacred worm took the opportunity to return to hide in his hole!
A simple book I bought my oldest daughter when she was 2 years old. Today it has 4 and she still likes me to read him the story as his little brother 2 years who loves repeating "Ho! Heave!" every page with jubilation. Appraisal: I recommend because it works and because I find it very beautiful theme on solidarity, which is not so present it in books for children.
