I must confess that I have the Omron pedometer first tested yesterday and it was against my pedometer app on the Iphone run. The results differed little from each other, so I assume that both devices are relatively accurate in their measurements. The advantage of the app, however, is that I just need to carry an additional device with me, but my phone all the time anyway have. The Omron pedometer is however so small and handy that you can tie him very well on a belt loop or the like without it disturbs. The operation is very simple and straightforward. The manual is not needed here actually really. The display is easy to read and the processing of the device works fine, not very high, but it was okay for the price.
Of course the whole thing is nothing more than a nice gimmick, but I just find it interesting.
