Very handy to protect his legs, knees and crotch of heat caused by a small laptop! Furthermore the lower part of the support is as soft as a cushion, whereas the upper part is rigid. The little protection down the support keeps the pc up properly! used for a midsize laptop (15.6 ") it also allows to slip a mouse at his side (of course with reduced mouse movements)!
