Yesterday I received the new iPad Air Cover by TeckNet by airmail from the UK. The price includes (in addition to the postage) is also a pen and a protective film for the screen. Pen and protector interest me less extent refers my vote only on the envelope. In the description was "iPad Gel Case, TPU Silicone Skin Case". I was expecting something else. In my last two iPads (3 + 4), I had each a KOLAY silicone sleeve during operation. The KOLAY envelope is significantly softer and more flexible and has a very different appearance. The shell of TeckNet contrast effect when unpacking rather fragile. My first thought: This thing holds none 2 weeks. Material is fixed without but hardline to act. But is in any case something else than a soft silicone case. The shell is very easy to install, almost a little too easy. Let's see how long it takes until the edges of the envelope to yield. When you create the shell, the iPad and the envelope should be veeeery clean. Every little hairs is shown mercilessly and drives me personally to permanently remove and wipe. The shell has a very clear, transparent appearance when new. It remains to be seen how the shell will hit in continuous operation (scratches) and UV light irradiation (discoloration). I expect is the envelope of normal use in 2 months significantly scratched (yes this is it there) and she gets a slight yellow tinge (silicone reaction when UV light normal). What the hell? Then I'll buy me a new halt for 5 euros. The price is very good and in conjunction with an org. Smart Cover top.
Until my weight update and the first long-term experience, I keep back a star.
