The product is really well made and the compartment for the iPad Air is very convenient, though it is true that the material is thin enough suddenly protection is not perfect.

I was looking for a bag for my macbook pro retina 15 "opening at the top and I'm not disappointed despite the lack of protection.
In short a good product to recommend but not excellent for those who want real protection against shocks such as me.
