I can only advise every amateur to acquire such a housing for a couple of EUR and enjoy the excellent pictures (including the encouraging small files). Another side effect: The good-natured behavior of 6-MP sensor - handling very easy.
Compared to the D300 / D300s it takes some patience (z. B. when photographing birds in bushes), because its autofocus is unsurpassed. The D70 / D70s is here but not bad.
Only on my D3 / D700 Good D70s not ran. All in all a tip for users who dare address at "old" stuff.
