am somewhat biased, since I already have a Pioneer DVR-720H with 160 GB hard drive and am really happy with it.
Now for Panasonic:
I bought it to me, because he tests that I know with his sharp image quality stands out in all.
that is true. at 2 hours on a DVD you notice no difference from the original, the Pioneer is seen as a bit of noise.
But now to the small, but somewhat annoying limitations:
no divx and mp3 playback when the data has been burned on DVD + R blanks. inexplicably repeatedly for me, so great can not but be different.
included in the programs on hard disk is only the date and the title displayed, not the total time (when you can see the Pioneer)
Although deleting commercials from eg goes, but compared to the Pioneer bit cumbersome.
JPG images can not enlarge, will always be displayed in full screen mode. have read through the manual and found nothing about it.
movies can be, unfortunately, not back in.
these two things can already allerbilligsten the DVD player, why not to explain again to me.
commitment a ntsc dvd in, you have previously always manually via the menu of PAL convert to NTSC - quite cumbersome.
Conclusion:
despite minor weaken a super recorder because it nunmal comes to image quality and because the Panasonic nobody can surpass. therefore 4 stars.
