No automatic WLAN activation. Why not via Bluetooth?

In principle, in my opinion very good and obvious idea. However, the app does not automatically activate the WLAN and does not turn it off by itself. This means: Whoever does not care to drive with activated WLAN through the area, each must always make itself, and then turn it on again the next time maneuvering.

There are good reasons, WiFi only turn on when it really needs to strive even without esoteric "electrosmog": The mobile phone will search indeed permanently by routers, consumes energy unnecessarily and annoying depending on the model, if possible with Bimmelgeräuschen once it which found (or even lost again) has. Would not it be better to connect via Bluetooth? That you have in the car anyway in many cases, for audio streaming and / or speakerphones.
