No comparison with an iPad (mini), but what about LTE? ...

The packaging is stable and limited to what is necessary, the Acer Iconia Tab 7 fills the packaging in terms of width and length almost completely. Additionally, it is again wrapped in foil and overall sufficiently protected in this package. It is gratifying that the packaging is limited to the amount necessary, I like.

The delivery is next to a power plug with a separate micro-USB cable or the product and safety information that is not needed in our view, per se. You could ask how the operating instructions on the website of Acer available, so you can just refer to it as needed.

The Iconia Tab 7 of Acer was established in July 2014 is therefore just after delivery than a month young. Again, you realize that technical devices hardly produced in advance, but are produced as required, also the like.

The Tablet is its compact size and easy to hold with one hand and can be easily operated. Not so good like the supernatant camera lens on the back of the tablet. Speaking SIM card: the Iconia Tab 7 of Acer is, even though the name may once something else suggests, is not a pure Tablet

LTE is unfortunately missing (this is fast HSDPA and HSUPA on board), but at a price of just around EUR 180, - not surprising. You could install an LTE module and slightly raise the price in a subsequent version of the Iconia Tab 7 of Acer. Then this would probably still under € 200, - are still on the road and make the operation of the tablet a little more comfortable. Where it is already very enjoyable innately, and the equipment can be more than seen: Energy Saving Bluetooth 4.0, Li-Ion battery, microSD card slot, HSDPA and HSUPA, WCDMA (900 MHz, 2100 MHz), GPRS & EDGE (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz), 16GB of storage, 1GB of memory, and of course GPS and WiFi.

The processing is a total of class, it creaks and rattles nothing. Only the cover for the SIM and microSD card is not as stable, but is unlikely to be opened here are becoming commonplace.

It's a matter of expectations. The Iconia Tab 7 is certainly not compare with a much teuerem iPad (mini) (especially the operating system and make sure that operation are different). For little money here you get a decent performance, the overall package is impressive in terms of technical equipment is quite. There are innately even some pre-installed apps (about "2 pages"), overloaded the tablet but does not affect it. And thanks to its compact dimensions, the Acer Iconia Tab 7 can in our view readily as "always-casual-tablet" called, also and especially because of the integrated telephony function, even if it is not, of course, pockets compatible.

From us there's a recommendation, if you can do without LTE. The price / performance ratio is more than adequate and should be considered in this segment as above average.
