Had my Onkyo TX-NR535 chewed but then found that I converters from Component to HDMI can not live without the video and I gained this Pioneer VSX-924. Granted the Pioneer is a price range higher than the Onkyo still I have to say that these two devices absolutely not playing in the same league in terms of quality. Of course, this receiver has so many features whose importance or necessity is assessed differently, but all the functions that I use are in an entirely different quality level as the Onkyo, really good playful from the iPhone app to remote control or the embedded Web server to configure everything to slightly , I have connected a PC, Apple Mini, Apple TV, Netgear Miracast, DVD player and an XBox 360, all at the same time, with HDMI output to a 1080p projector, all without problems in first-class quality. The sound quality should be assessed anyway esoteric and more depending on the speakers, can not complain in any case.
