After the main novelty but also of me a brief review of my experiences in the night use yet.
Lighting
o turn happens before retracting the lamp by a push button on top of the lamp arm. Repeated pressing switches to the lamp -> bright -> from
+ Lamp turns off even when they snap shut
+ Two brightness levels (the darker just fine)
+ Very uniform illumination by the three LEDs
+ Because of the angle of incidence is very flat, you do not have reflections of the LEDs on the eBook reader as reading lights occur eg when using "normal" LED for paper books. With her long gooseneck they can get through the light centered on the page, it "reflects" the LEDs, however, almost always disturbing - even on non-reflective displays.
- The only disadvantage of the flat light is then but a natural brightness decrease with increasing distance from the lamp. When clamping the lamp on eBook reader above, it is the top of the page very bright, but still light enough below
Batteries:
- AAA cells would have been, of course, practically, because then you also could use rechargeable batteries
+ On the other hand Kandle II with his two CR2032 cells is very light and does not interfere weight if it is clamped at the top eBook reader
+ The battery compartment can be opened and closed easily
+ Two batteries were installed already in Kandle II and there were again two more at
Other:
+ Rubberized clamp for attaching. Also keeps very well on eBook Readers, if you push them quite far to the outside, so that the Kandle II does not protrude into the side (like my Sony PRS-T1)
o a small Stoffbeutelchen with drawstring is settled
