The product is accompanied by a description in German, this actually describes the exchange.
I have carried out the exchange as follows:
1. Unscrew the "old" lens from the camera
- Turn the Fokuszierungsring with two fingers clockwise approximately 10 full turns
2. Remove the Fokuszierungsring from 'old' lens
- The Fokuszierungsring is mounted on the front rim of the lens and has the sole purpose of being able to turn the lens by hand (two fingers). The actual thread is on the lens.
- The Fokuszierungsring with the middle and index fingers of both hands to hold and a thumb from the front of the lens, press (The thread of the lens is pointing away from the body, to protect the lens I put between your thumb and the lens, a lens cloth).
- Now I have pushed with some force to the lens - nothing happens !!
- According to one description in this case the heat Fokuszierungsring to widen this.
- So I have a hair dryer all about 30 seconds warmed and taken as described above, again in the hand. Lo and behold, a slight pressure and the lens engages noticeably and can be pushed about 3 mm from the Fokuszierungsring.
- I've pushed to the back of a pencil from the front of the lens and completely pushed out without using excessive force (Brillenputztuch who attach importance to protect the lens between it and the pencil) To completely push out the lens.
The "old" lens after removal of a piece, it also falls out no lens and the front rim should also be tuned and of resin - as already repeatedly described here - not a trace. The lens can be installed in principle again.
However, I recommend the extension not to heat the lens too long and not pull the thread as it is in this case probably damaged.
3.) Fokuszierungsring attach the wide-angle lens
- Tackle the lens with lens cleaning cloth on the thread and the front rim of the lens from behind stuck in the Fokuszierungsring. The whole thing is a little stiff, but there is no greater force required.
- The objective is to gem. Description will not be completely pushed into the Fokuszierungsring.
I have to breath it to the first stop, which is about 2 mm less compared to the complete installation. I suspect that here is a small edge in the ring which can lock the lens when it is fully depressed (see configuration).
The reason for the about 2 mm, is that the wide-angle lens for a sharp image a little further into the camera must be purely screwed than the original lens. If the lens is quite pure pressed into the Fokuszierungsring, this is not possible, because the ring is pressed during clean screw the lens to the camera body.
4. einschauben) wide-angle lens in the camera, screen sharp
- The objective with two fingers clockwise back into the camera screws (about 12 revolution) and then focusing (left or turn Rech).
The whole exchange took about 5 minutes.
The picture is not as sharp as the original lens, but is ok. According to my understanding of lens technology, this is normal, but you can now monitor the entire room.
