No problems recognized

Looking for a suitable HDTV Unitymedia digital cable receiver you end up inevitably the TT-micro C834.
After looking at the reviews offered here (in section 3.5) difficulties or problems in the operation of this device are apparently not always avoidable.
After reading all the reviews of the first impression obtained may be revised in favor of the receiver,
Valuations: The remote control does not look good ...; I had a digital camera in a box ...; not suitable for Unitymedia ... I mentally removed and despite the remaining "residual problems" I have ordered the unit.

Delivery in Amazazon as always very fast. The unit is plugged in a few minutes, even without instructions. After switching starts an update (operating software Vers. 2.15), then the tuning is carried out. All other settings can be done easily via the On-Sreen-Display. All menu items are self-explanatory.
About the picture quality does not have to be written, it is, as expected excellent (via HDMI).
Now to the much-debated point: PVR recording.
In my Computerzubehörwühlkiste I was looking for 2.5 "SATA HDD enclosure find (no external power connection). 4 unterchiedliche housing were populated with elderly dusty disks (capacity from 80 to 250 GB) from different manufacturers. The plates were all FAT32, then filled with 30 GB JPEG images (for Option Image Viewer). These disks PVR recordings were carried out. After the recordings I have additional hard disks with the disk enclosures still interchanged and created more recordings. Each disk thus contained 4 shots from 4 under shoot union disk enclosures and a folder with 30 GB (pictures). All images (picture and sound) were free of errors, as well as the option Bidbetrachter / slideshow. were reviewed the recordings with LCD / LED devices from Sony and Samsung latest design.
The most important and surprising finding from my side: In one corner stood with us yet - for a long time unused - a TV Philips32PW-9551/12; a tube device !!! with HDMI input (1080i). Just for fun I connected the TT-receiver model. The result has totally amazed me. Considered on my eyes and ears, and from a distance of 3m is this tube device !!! compared with the LCD / LED high-tech equipment a highlight. An LCD device is now somewhere in the corner and I'm back in front of a tube (HDMI) with decent sound.

In my experience there is no reason the TT-micro C834 HDTV cable receiver for the Unitymedia network - with the cards at 01 or at 02 - not to use.
