In use, I had been side by side the ST 5 Racer Brooks and Asics Gel Hyperspeed 5 models, Gel Fuji Racer 2 and Gel 1170th
The Gel DS Trainer 18 is the gel 1170 is now replaced.
The Asics Gel-DS Trainer has become my absolute favorite running shoe next to the Brooks St Racer 5 (see my review).
Why then buying Reebok Premier Zigblaze?:

The shoes I have wg. the low price (45.90) as well as buy out of pure interest. I wanted to see if the running is really so different in these shoes. After about 9 months I have the following opinion / knowledge.
Styling and fit:

The shoes seem at first glance of the optics rather Globig and cumbersome. The styling is certainly just at the bottom quite unlike just about all other running shoes. For my circumstances (in everyday size 43 or 44) I have also chosen size 44 in this shoe model. A very well-cushioned insole, the longer one wears the shoe feels better. The statement, so you walk on clouds or moss is however not justified for me and the discharge of the shins by up to 20% + faster and better run, I can not confirm ..
Sole and ground:

The shoe is not an allrounder. Have used it both on asphalt, gravel roads and forest soils in dry and wet while had major problems with the grip. Especially in the wet the missing profile and the small contact surface of the sole for very little maintenance and some sliders provides.

Unlike my previous running shoe models from other manufacturers I feel while jogging in this shoe is not comfortable. Can him or for walking not recommended. Was with 2 other Reebok models previously the case.
