It was not my first adhesive plate. Another brand has well maintained for years on much rougher terrain. Summer and winter. I was so hopeful. This here has dropped down to just five days the Navi mounted thereon. That's a No! No recommendation!
I want to restrict my negative review to the effect that the mounting surface for this panel was flat but not smooth though. Golf V, between the windscreen and dashboard. The plastic surface there is approximately equal to a pockmarked skin. She was absolutely clean. It was about 18 degrees Celsius when I glued the plate. Then no Wintergrade or heat. Plates were explicitly advertised for my navigator (TomTom XXL). The manufacturer a notice that the panels are suitable only for certain categories of motor vehicles, there is not. A golf is as individual yes now synonymous not.
Only the promise of the plate could be removed easily and without residue, was observed already after a very short time. But for that I would first like to use for years.
