Not as expected IMPROVED!

On this album I was very happy. And I was out of the music, which I bought from impatience as mp3 downloads because the delivery of the digipack edition was delayed, not disappointed. Today finally I have the digipack edition get what I have something to say later, but first the actual, the music.

Prior to the publication could be read on the Internet here and there that there probably should be a revised or entirely new concept for the new album. I've been doing the worst imagined after I found it so much the debut album. So why after only one album already, a new concept? What did that mean? Now I know it was obviously not too much importance. Therefore, the album is just different than I expected. Amaranthe Amaranthe are still and have gone on with the new album started the way.

How do I find, the band has definitely evolved. The songs are still coherent. The individual parts, the different voices and processed musical styles have been brought more into line here. I find it much easier to repeatedly listen to this album from start to finish, as even the predecessor. The songs are very catchy. This time there are two ABBA-style songs Razorblade and Electro Heart but the spray both earworm potential. To my favorite songs include Theory of Everything, Stardust and Infinity. But the ballad of the album Burn With Me comes down very well with me and running even two or three times in succession. Only I would have wished for this number that you would have the screams still installs with determined work.

Only remains to say that the album can not hear in a loop, the emphasis is on time. Twice, yes, but more then goes again not. As with the first album, the songs are up for it too similar. You could even replace songs with the two albums and it would hardly be noticed. Therefore, I would rather give 4.5 stars if it went. But because my tendency but rather shows up, there is of me for the second album by Amaranthe 5 Stars.

Bottom line: The album should really please everyone, who already took the first well. The small changes that there are more positive nature. Amaranthe is the mixture of different styles of music a band that you either love or hate. I'm a metal fan, but always open to new and different. The music of this band could very well appeal to everyone, the rock, pop or mainstream generally like. I think There is nothing wrong.

One thing is for me that by reading other reviews before I wrote this own, become clear. Such assessments depend almost always on the personal taste. I find z. B. things well that criticize others. So it's all a matter of taste, the only way once in a while as a side note.

Now a word about the so-called digipack edition. I am CD collectors and have stayed Ettlich Limited-Editions and digipack in my collection, but as something so cheap I have not yet come across. The shell of the CD consists of only one double-printed cardboard into on the one hand the CD and on the other side the booklet is inserted. The openings are so that CD and booklet could fall out at any time nor out also. So a shell could possibly still approve of for a single, but in my opinion actually not. I have uploaded a couple of times customers photos. And from another CD so I imagine a digipack! The two bonus songs are not bad, but by the shell of the cheap but considerably higher price is absolutely inappropriate. Had I known that before, I would have probably ordered the standard version and to dispense with the bonus songs. But with the CD (music) that has nothing to do and therefore this does not change my rating.
