Not bad .... but .. 18

First of all, the clock comes in a nice little box, and a meaningful charger, to which the clock can only hang up. So not fumble with a plug.
The clock looks really quite good, and not as some other smart watches, as fresh from the gumball machine.
For a while after turning on and pair with the mobile phone with the Android app Wear the latest software installed.

The worst thing about the clock is actually then that the clock is somewhat helpless in the hands holding it back and herwischt and then asks why I have now actually ordered, I will send the back maybe? The small case is set booklets namely a joke, what is missing is a decent good description. There will once again create the new Apple Watch the people to procure alleged innovations that it actually already 1 Apple - were 2 years.
So little helpless one then determines that the clock but responding more and more to incoming SMS, emails, app notifications ... it slowly comes joy.
As the second major addition to Android app Wear, Wear Mini Launcher is recommended, then installs itself on the clock.
Transferring available in Android Wear displays works flawlessly by tapping. So you can transfer the clock different clock face, which then also in the clock, in addition to the existing ones, are self-selected. WeatherPro has in the latest version also dials with color display when it is gray, sunny etc.sein. The published by me in Android Wear but only after I have WeatherPro uninstalled and reinstalled.
The app Watchmaker is everywhere highly praised, it is quite nice, because you can create even relatively simple dials, but otherwise I had the 2 euro may well save me.

News of threema, SMS, emails, Hangout (also with pictures), Twitter (if set alerts) will appear on the clock and are "hochscrollbar" easy to read. Google Now information also appears by itself (took me just now is reminiscent of a football game). If you want to get from Google+ news, you have to set the alerts in the corresponding circles of Google+.
Surprisingly good is the voice recognition. What this is something that disrupts the voice messages can not be changed and will be sent immediately, although if you're quick, you can still stop sending it. But when good speech recognition actually not a big problem - perhaps even an advantage not having to type again.
My Tracks, or a navigation on foot, bike or car, and the app TrackID are bootable from the clock out. Nice if you can hear music and can reveal the song with a single tap at the clock.
Some dials with altitude by the Barometer asks the clock after a reference altitude, which can be in a cell phone with barometer z. B. by the app get "accurate barometer". The built-in compass is quite funny, shaking pretty back and forth and actually not really reasonably usable.
Whoever thinks to have become very excited, can casually get displayed time by the clock his heart rate; z. B. with the app "Cardiograph" or "Google Fit". The display step does not seem to be so bad ... (probably comes down to how I row with arms ;-)), but I have to test in more detail.
With 'Find telephone' I can be looking for my phone near (that already sometimes happened to me). The app "IF" TTT is good even without SmartWatch, allows using SmartWatch example quickly send someone his position.

Now back to the question, do I really need all this?
It is nice that the clock pleasant, like a "normal" looks like, and you can select a corresponding dial for any occasion.
When driving you are not so distracted by a quick look at the clock, as if you would take the phone in hand.
The latter I quit because too many constantly take the phone in hand as Drunken through the area.
A reject calls with news and talk from short messages is fine. The app SMS coffee is not bad. A navigate, even walking in a strange city with no cell phone in hand, is easily possible.

In meetings, appointments, presentations, etc. You can at any time, after a slight vibration, see through quick look at the clock (except the time), who has just one SMS, messenger or e-mail written etc., or tried to call. The mobile phone is - turned down and does not need to be taken out of the bag - depending on the settings in the app Android Wear.
Somehow I thought but for a while, the clock does not look like a metal clock but more like a plastic clock until I realized that around even plastic sheets were glued .... I noticed but only as an edge had superseded weak, and I thought the clock was already scratched ...... ;-)

The clock ultimately lives from the Apps, and usable, eg. T beautiful dials, but there appear more and more.
What you sometimes need is a little patience until possible apps but then "appear" on the clock for use.
There is still a lot of good arguments for the clock, and the purchase I have not regretted it at first.

But: It must be remembered that the battery life is highly dependent on the incoming messages. If you use the clock only as clock, then the information with 24 hour may perhaps go. In a few alerts kept with me the clock from 6 am to dusk clock (midnight), and there were still few percents left; She would have done only with sorrow and distress 24 hours.
The clock now lives off the incoming messages, and there begins the problem with the battery life! During navigation with frequent changes of direction and a corresponding number of messages, the battery is with me after 6.5 hours, only 5% have (energy-saving mode is then indicated at some point). Thus the friendship was over with the clock.

Such a watch is actually a great thing, but there are still too many Haker land: sometimes lasts forever emerge until some apps in the clock, then the clock is humming often when nothing is, but supposedly the connection is interrupted to the mobile phone, although it immediately is near.
The battery life - which indeed is in this Watch already comparatively long - I still find much too short. The development of the watch is relatively fresh, but in my opinion we need few more years until the clocks are mature and have a useful battery life.
