The LiteXpress Camp 201 is there. Now I can do a direct comparison with the Varta 4W.
I thought that both lanterns are quite identical, because they look very similar to the pictures.
That was wrong: The LiteXpress is approximately twice as large and heavy, has 4 LEDs instead of 3, requires 6 x D batteries instead of 3 x etc.
In handling the LiteXpress is not as easy as the Varta far to close the battery cover, for example, is atrocious difficult.
Their luminosity is also not adequately larger.
Total MMIR like the Varta better.
So if you do not need the extra white and red lamps on the side, is well served by the more compact Varta.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The lamp is identical - only much smaller - with the Lite Express Camp 200, the Liting Ever LED and other marketed for 20 to 24 euros.
With 18 cm in height and 725 gr operation finished, the lamp is very compact.
Cover and base are rubberized, also the main body has generous, rough or non-slip surfaces and even the metal handle is rough coated.
Materials and workmanship are absolutely impeccable.
The lamp has a very robust and clear as well as waterproof, drip edges, nowhere is a weak point where water could penetrate to discover.
The bottom (to insert the batteries) and the upper part - the purpose of hanging - are joined by bayonet Verschüsse.
The soil dissolves at a 45 degree rotation, the upper part at 90 degrees.
The compounds are very fit, nothing wobbles to discover any game.

ENERGY SUPPLY
The lamp needs 3 mono batteries Type D (these are the gaz large round).
I operate easily with D batteries with 1.2V and 4,000 to 4,500 mAh. These batteries cost per piece currently converted 2 euros at discounters with L, next week they are there for the equivalent of 1.50 euros each at discount stores with A.
Another option are batteries AA with 2000 mAh in D adapter. However, this is not useful because the capacity is low and you get for the price of the adapter (6 Euro, offered only as a four-pack) equal to 4 battery with 4000 mAh.
The power supply is very inexpensive and the lamp is at least 100 hours (150 hours manufacturer unaudited) with one battery charge.
The ultimate solution is the battery type D with 10000mAh, for example by Ansmann, but the converted rd. 11 Euros per unit costs.

MAINTENANCE
The Kunsstoffflächen are very smooth and can be cleaned very well. This allows the lamp to be used on building sites with no power as an inexpensive construction lamp. It is mechanically very widerstandsfähg also against shocks etc.
A disadvantage is the rough rubber surface: If plaster or mortar strikes there, can wipe only with difficulty with a strong brush and plenty of water.

CONCLUSION
The light is very inexpensive, robust, practical, flexible and economical.
However, with a high glare factor and rather unattractive light.
But you can easily, even by inexperienced hobbyists, rebuild.
