These loops have the advantage of being set up as desired and mixing colors if desired but the worry is that the system fixed (hard plastic caps) is uncomfortable, we feel its parts hard plastic on top of the foot. So in fact no need for lacing and fairly easy to use but ultimately not very comfortable
