This generic battery supposed to replace the battery CANON BP 727 has a voltage of 3.7 while the Canon is strongly déconseiilé 3.6 .A friend told me to use this battery as this may damage my camcorder (he "toasted "his!).
This purchase was therefore quite unnecessary, even if the price is tempting!
