If you have a compact camera, then this tripod fits beautifully, but given 2 kg (I have 17-50 certainly below my 60d and Tamron) holds the "thing" never.
Thought it was as a second stand, but not even to what it is good:
The head tilts again. Processing leaves much to be desired. I was afraid the locking screw turn off the ball head, and the "legs" are also very very shaky. I expected here any quality ala Gitzo or Berlebach, but that it is so poorly finished I did not think.
