1) The lock lever removable tray (where the camera is fixed), continues to exceed the body in a closed position. There is therefore a risk of hang with a garment or other and cause the unlocking then the drop tray + device.
So I was forced to machine the lever (on the board support in part) to come and in hidden position under the top plate. I also put a security system (thumbscrew) to prevent accidental release or at least an important game taking the device when a standard plate (> 1 kg) is set, and that all is held by the tripod.
2) The wrench of the upper plate-which is rotatable about a horizontal axis before back- not necessary to lock the rotation device when a standard (> 1 kg) is attached. If there is no risk of falling when the assembly is held by the tripod, there is a risk of inadvertent rotation and therefore shock against another object.
3) rotating about the vertical axis (pan) has jerk light but visible in video.
Only the rear before rotation controlled by the screw-handle is relatively fluid. But his blocking is very difficult and requires a disproportionate tightening.
In summary not heavy but cheap little use. Too bad because a little more careful implementation in had made a useful accessory for the video with a small camera
