The Chain Maille pieces are half persian, persian full, box, byzantine, helmet, flower, european 4-in-1, dragon scale, scallop, and Victorian Lace. The CORRESPONDING techniques are referenced in a technique Briefly appendix deed does not mention aspectRatio. The Latter must be known or taken from the individual design descriptions. The designs Themselves just require the maker to produce This or That pice of chain maille to integrate into the wire wrapping jewelery, more or less like a pearl Including.
The wire wraps tend to be more organic and free-form (13) than to follow mathematical patterns (5: Triangle Squares 2, Diamond, Star). This in itself needs not to be bad, if you like organic free forms, Which I do not. Of the designs there are 10 necklaces, pendants 6 and 10 bracelets (including alternative design). I myself might consider to attempt a maximum of 4 designs of thesis, but one of them being a bracelet and I never wear them.
In my impression, the book is not meant for beginners, in neither of the techniques (I can do chain maille, I never have done wire wrapping so far). The book description Should make that clear. I think a preview of one of the design descriptions would make clear what to expect of the booklet. If I had had a search preview, I do not think I would have ordered the book.
This is just my personal opinion, somebody else more experienced and loving organic freeform designs may thinkdifferent.
