I bought this music stand in the hope that it is slightly higher than "normal" music stand. When comparing the heights of various models, would have to be the case. The question is, as measured. Until the touch pad surface or to the very top? The manufacturers seem to handle differently. Anyway, this music stand is not higher than my age, even slightly lower. I am 1,80 tall and me, the height just not quite, if I fiddle while standing.
Second gripe: When pulling into the air, there is no "stop function". The annoying bit, we have quickly two separate parts in hand.
