The album is mixed (for all who do not know). That gives it a special touch. A large tension runs through the album, similar to his sets at the legendary Vandit Nights. Full length (Djs for sure important) there are the tracks on I-Tunes. Personally, I will be released soon vinyl version fetch me to on but unfortunately probably missing a lot of the right hymns. But let's see what's coming.
1.) Haunted:
- Very chilled (actually already Ambient) with beautiful singing of Lofi - Sugar.
2.) White Lies (feat. Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls)
- Very American. More reminiscent of Kylie Minogue as to Paul. The fat synths provide a Outgoing Party track.
3.) Sabotage:
- Very unusual techhousig and would also like very well the supporters of the current electro house wave.
4.) Complicated (feat Ashley Tomberlin).:
- Very melancholy smoochy Vocal -Trance track featuring Ashley Tomberlin. What the dream!
5.) Get Back (feat Alex Morph & Ashley Tomberlin).:
He has collaborated with a very significant trance producers out of the pot. The beats go forward properly. Then begins the marvelous break with Ashley's wonderful hypnotic voice and makes a very beautiful love track it. After the break, we go with distorted whirring sounds progressively forward. Abgehfaktor!
6) Far Away (feat. Giuseppe Ottaviani)
-Very Hitverdächtiger Uplifting Trance. Both the sound of Paul and that of "Nu NRG - head" Giuseppe Ottaviani is to hear immediately.
7.) Another Sunday:
That sounds familiar? No Wonder.
The track uses a sample of progressive house tracks
"Probspot - Blows My Mind". But that is in this hymn barely
noticeably. PVD has Floor Filler wholesale Events done it at the probably no leg still breastfeeding.
8) Talk In Grey (feat. Ayan Merchant)
Huiiii ... Click here beautiful rock-pop to the point. In my opinion, one of the strongest tracks on the album. Just because we of something Paul still did not know. Earwig total!
9.) In Circles (feat. Alex Morph)
- Reminds me a little of the samples here at the Dreamhouse -wave which time the 90 he made uncertain or even a bit of Nalin & Kane "Open Your Eyes". Successful trance track, one of the best on the album.
10.) In Between
- That's what I call real trance! In the style of the old Paul Van Dyk times and very cautious. Since You float it, unfortunately alluded too short.
11) Stormy Skies (feat. Wayne Jackson)
Stormy Skies is one of my big Favourite -tracks on the album.
Wayne Jackson gives the melancholy piece with his voice a very special touch. Sadly Schön his singing is because almost even slightly darkes se. No Wonder. Wayne Jackson has but already for Paul's hit "The Other Site" sang last. A song, who acted on the afterlife. Melody and song go straight to the heart!
12.) Detournement
- Paired with classical orchestra sound downright produces goose bumps.
Would be interested to know where the sample is or who is responsible for the
Orchestra was responsible. Sounds almost like Pauls rare live performances with the
Filmorchster Babelsberg.
13) New York City (feat. Starkillers Austin Leeds and)
- Does not sound at the first preview for PVD. More of a UK-Progressive Track.
No wonder Paul Van Dyk has with Starkiller and the famous
Progressive House- producer Austin Leeds teamed.
Darker Progressive - sound, cool vocals and in the background you hear often the
Sirens of police cars. Yes there hovers with the town feeling.
14) Castaway (Lof-Fi Sugar)
Sugar? Yes however. Here again it gets really sweet. Cuddly female vocals over gentle trance sounds. Paul total. So we already know from his hit "Tell Me Why."
But this track is of course something completely different.
15) La Dolce Vita (feat. Giuseppe Ottaviani)
Had frankly more in this piece to "4 Strings" takes on Paul Van Dyk & Giuseppte Ottaviani thought - if I had not known better. The strong parallels to their trance hit "Into the Night" are clearly recognizable and was the track but even a piece that has always played up and down time of Paul.
The inspiration was probably there and it was quite possible wanted it to sound like. The result has become well and you have here is very rich but not necessarily new Trance! The well-known we like now being expected.
16.) Let Go (feat. Rea Garvey)
Rea Garvey from "Reamonn" gives the track its unique voice. A track of infected anywhere from rock / pop and electronic dance music. I think all the time at, which is the strongest song on the album for me. This reminds me very hard but Let Go is for a very strong contender. The Rea with Vandit cooperation, is not new. Has he not already in the movie theme song "Be Angeled" by Jam & Spoon sung, who appeared at the time on the label.
17) Fall With Me (feat. David Byrne)
80, it should pay attention fans! After a short break wirds mix again at the end really hot: David Byrne of Talking Heads gave here his voice and has become really good and technically sound and once again what else than Upflifting trance. Just listen.
