What pleased me most in this book is absolutely amazing how Stephen King has to tell us a story of friendship. Because "it", it's not a horror book in my opinion. It is mainly a book about the ties by children around a serious subject that made them ripen too fast. It is a story of promise, sharing, friendship between children who eventually love nothing more than to be together and love that will keep the group as an adult. A book on nostalgia, a little melancholy at times, but always fair in tone. And this is the great strength of King, with as much accuracy portray these emotions that we all experienced when we were kids.
