When I walk today through the supermarket and stand there on magazine shelf comics, I can not think of at: Oh God, how expensive! That would make me totally discouraged at my own children later, every week 2.50 to pay for a book, which also exaggerated squeaky-colorful and action-packed comes along and seduces every second sides for consumption. When I was 8 years old (1994) I got my first book and had been happy for years: Great Comics, great tips, jokes, extras ... I'm just saying Urzeitkrebse, whoopee cushion, chewing gum joke (... ouch, my fingers !), The Cunning book or the detective / Survivor- sets every year ... and for just 2.40 DM, half of what it costs today, in sheer boredom. 5 years ago it was at times even so bad that the book straight times so had about 40 pages (previously always around 70-80 ...)
> CONCLUSION: If your child is interested in comics and they want to pay attention to the fast-paced media frenzy of today, I would prefer to have recourse to the Funny Paperback, indeed is already alas! become more modern, but still better than what I see on the shelves today. Well, I grew up in the 90s!
