1) The connection to the phone takes far too long. Can fast turn on time to capture a snapshot you absolutely forget. Therefore, the camera must be constantly on what draws properly to the battery. If the connection is lost, what has happened already in my short antesten, you have to wait again for several seconds until it has connected.
2.) The camera is anything but compact. In your pocket, the camera fits under any circumstances and even in your pocket the whole looks a little elegant. In contrast, the RX100, which has the same sensor, and the same lens, much more compact.
3.) The camera is not easy to grip. I was always afraid they'd fall out of his hand. On Smartphone fixed it a little better, but not really perfect. Handed operation impossible.
4) The camera is simply too expensive. For the same price I get the RX100, with the same sensor, the same lens, better processing, more adjustment buttons and wheels plus it is also more compact and faster to use.
An image quality, there is of course little to complain about, but overall, the QX100 is no more than a first attempt with some serious shortcomings. The Sony RX100 offers the same image quality for the same price and in terms of handling just much better, faster and more compact.
