For a better understanding I will not go into all the details such as Twitter, ParkAssist, Expedia or Bluetooth here. Here I would like to assess purely on the fly, the, to which the unit was actually created for navigating.
The device itself is a purely visual really a little eye candy. Flat, grip equipped with a class-magnetic holder and the display is in contrast to the old Navi a real revelation as much larger.
While its predecessor, however, came with a handbook on the thickness of the New Testament, I missed here a little bit a manual.
As hard can it not be, I thought, in fact: Anyone who has ever held such a part in hands is most likely immediately so rightly. Virtually everybody should be able to quickly make friends with it, because this TomTom has a kind little 'tour guide' explains the very short but adequate with built get started with this device.
Well we went to the update. For card itself came no message, which is not surprising, since only delivered fresh. However, as already described by other reviewers, 35 smaller and also available updates are displayed. And at this point my hairdresser is now happy, he may yet again re-dyeing my hair. Because here I've really got a few more gray.
After more than 8 hours, and countless attempts it gives me so far not succeeded this widget to the Navi. Although these updates are touted as being available on the side of TomTom I found somewhere on this website, by analogy of sentences: "Visit our page regularly for updates, the radar cameras available soon.". Too bad, I've got it now no longer found on the fly. If this is the reason for the stubborn refusal with the download?
But now, a few words for actual navigation. Has been tested in town of Dresden and the route Dresden - Petrovice (CZ).
The GPS signal is really rapidly available. And even now as I write in the kitchen he has this review a connection (in the building!). That's really amazing. In the previous, I was traveling by car before me spotted the satellite about 5 minutes.
Deviations from the prescribed route, the TomTom copes confidently and without constantly and loudly, "Please contact now" to bawl. It has discreetly out and calculated otherwise hastily a new route. Also, the radar detector was working on all routes outstanding. I could make out the extent any problems within Dresden.
BUT: On the route to the Czech Republic it was seeing again something different. Of at least 20 smaller Tempo 30 lines he recognized just one quarter. Because you should leave it in no way. The old Navigon recognized all !! Also, for months existing blocking the shortest route within Pirna he did not know and thus steer me disdainfully into ruin.
So, dear TomTom developers: If you bring a device called "LIVE" on the market, but then that should work differently!
Conclusion:
If TomTom is still working on the urgently for improvement updates on the company's side, keeping with the "Go Live 1015 World" a first-rate navigation device in his hands.
For me, now no reason only 3 stars to forgive, because I cherish the presumption, this will happen alsbaldig. If not, I'll castrate my review to one star. But all in all: To my aforementioned "retirees" this device is here a quantum leap.

Thanks to an attentive reader I was informed that the updates work as long as they only individually and clicking successively. So läufts even now with me now. An Info TomTom might have been not bad !!!

Meanwhile my TomTom had unfortunately wrecked during the general TomTom crashes during software update.

E-mail correspondence to help. However, this turns out not particularly helpful. If you pass the same, not
